As From Memory to Movement: Emmett at 85 comes to a close, Radical Joy invites the community to gather for an evening that honors the enduring legacy of Emmett Till on what would have been his 85th birthday through celebration, creativity, and collective hope.

Inspired by the belief that joy itself can be an act of resistance, this closing-night event transforms remembrance into movement through music, poetry, dance and fellowship. The evening will feature live musical performances, powerful spoken word, dancing, delicious food and celebratory libations, creating a vibrant atmosphere where memory is not confined to grief but expressed through love, resilience and community.
