Join us for an engaging Artist Talk featuring the 12 artist From Memory to Movement: Emmett at 85. This special event will provide the unique opportunity to hear from the artists directly and gain insight into the ideas, experiences and creative processes that inspired their work.

Together, we will create a space to reflect on Emmett Till’s legacy and Mamie Till-Mobley’s courageous decision to reveal the truth about her son’s murder as a catalyst for the Civil Rights Movement.The conversation will explore how art serves as both witness and resistance by preserving history, honoring lives, confronting difficult truths and inspiring new visions for the future.
